Focolare Young Adult Retreats are a chance to come together and build community. While we are from different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions, we come together to know, value, and learn from one another. Presentations, activities, and discussions allow for a greater understanding of unity and demonstrate how we can live it in our diversity, embracing our uniqueness, and creating meaningful connections.

Ensemble on Avance / Moving Forward Together
October 6 to 9, 2023 – HÔTEL PAVILLON JEAN XXIII, Montreal, Canada.
Young adults from Canada and the US will gather for an amazing opportunity to build, laugh, share and make an experience of community. Their program welcomes walks, games, reflections, prayer and a visit to downtown Montreal. The reflections will focus on concrete ways to handle suffering and Pope Francis’ words in his book The Courage to be Happy.
Unity in Diversity. Texas – June 2023
Twenty-seven of us attended the Focolare Young Adult Retreat in Dickinson, Texas. We came from Ohio, Atlanta, the Houston area, Corpus Christi, Milwaukee, New York and Edmonton Canada. The program gave us the chance to enter into topics such as Unity in Diversity, Living a Balanced Life, How to Handle Suffering and Who are the Gen.

Vancouver, Canada – December 2022.
This retreat gave a chance to review the gen life through the lives of Focolare young people in the process of canonization. It also provided time to reflect reflected on how to handle suffering with Jesus Forsaken, living balance, our prayer life and the various possible vocations.
