Youth Center for North America (YCNA) is committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with a safe online experience. This Privacy Notice covers the collection, use and disclosure of information collected through the website https://ycna.focolare.us. The use of information we collect shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which you have engaged YCNA.

From time to time we will update this Privacy Notice as our organization expands, and we undertake new opportunities that involve your personal data. Therefore, we strive to adhere to the following principles laid out in this Privacy Notice.

Children Under the Age of 18
Our website is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on this or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Personal Data, or Personally Identifiable Information or “PII” means any data that could potentially identify a specific individual. This website collects personal data as submitted on our “sign up” google form and Mailchimp form geared toward participation in activities and events. They are then used for contact purposes only to inform of all things related to YCNA including event registrations and participation. It is not used for marketing purposes.

YCNA through its website collects the following Personally Identifying Information

Contact information – such as your first and last name, email address, phone number, and physical address when you contact us through our website, social media or other means.  We collect some of this information using various third-party vendors.

Online data – such as IP address, personal information contained in cookies (see below regarding detailed information regarding cookie collection).

Website and Server Logs – When you visit our website, our servers capture your activity, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, computer settings, which browser you use, what language your browser is using, the date/time of your usage, any referring URL (the website that sent you to us), and additional information contained in cookies. (see detailed cookie information below).

Correspondence – If you contact us by email, postal mail, or other form of communication that reveals your personal data, we may store such information and use it to respond to you; to notify you of additional services, or to keep a record of your comment or complaint, accommodation request, or similar issues.  As with other forms of data collection, if you desire to have your personal data “erased” please contact us at youthcna@gmail.com.

Customer feedback, from time to time, we may ask you to provide feedback either directly, over the phone, through our software or through our support team.  You are not required to provide feedback, but if you do, your name and comments will be stored and used to improve the services we deliver to you through our platform.

Customers use the YCNA website to donate personal data stored with our hosting company, Kindful, Venmo and Mailchimp.

How do we use your personal data?
YCNA will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose.

Websites, Social Media, Events and other Marketing means
We collect your personal data to administer our Website, to continuously improve your experience in using our website and services, to insure that our website and social media content displays in the most efficient and effective manner, for usage trend monitoring and advertising.

We also collect your personal data that you provide to us to inform you of additional services, to schedule meetings, or simply to reply to you based on your inquiry.

Information sharing
YCNA does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Further, we believe that we do not disclose your Personal Data to any third party in a manner that would be considered a “sale” under applicable laws. We will share your personal information with trusted service providers only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy.

YCNA will not otherwise transmit, disclose or share your personal data to persons or businesses not related to YCNA for their independent use unless: 1. You specifically authorize it; 2. The information is given to comply with the law, such as a search warrant, court order or subpoena, to enforce an agreement with have with you, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; 3. The information is given to our agents, vendors, affiliates or service providers who perform functions on our behalf; 4. To address emergencies or acts of God; 5. To address disputes, claims, or to persons who are your agents or representatives purporting to have legal authority to act on your behalf.  We may also collect aggregated data about our customers and Site visitors and transmit the results of such aggregated (but de-identified) information to our partners, vendors, service providers, advertisers, and third parties for purposes of marketing and promotions.

Processing your payment and donations
YCNA does not store your payment or donation information. Your payment and/or donation information is passed to third-party processors, Kindful and Venmo

Access to Kindful and Venmo is limited to key YCNA and Focolare personnel; such access is personally identifiable to specific individuals and password protected to maintain control over access and preserve accountability for misuse. YCNA does not store credit card information separately from Kindful and Venmo. How is my data protected? 
YCNA secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of any information we store, process, or transmit.

Right to Remove
You can request that we delete your Personal Data by emailing a request to Email:
 youthcna@gmail.com. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Third party links
Our Site includes links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from YCNA’s practices. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. YCNA is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on Web sites outside of the YCNA web site.

Akismet
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Really Simple SSL
Really Simple SSL and Really Simple SSL add-ons do not process any personal identifiable information, so the GDPR does not apply to these plugins or usage of these plugins on your website. You can find our privacy policy here.

Updates to the privacy policy
This policy may be amended from time to time, consistent with applicable data protection and privacy laws and principles.

Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms
This website collects names, email addresses and other selected data as submitted on our “Get involved” goggle form. They are then used for contact and event organization purposes only to inform of all things related to YCNA. It is not used for marketing purposes.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data
Personal data entered on goggle forms are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Analytics
Monsterinsights by WordPress allows us to see how our visitors find and use our website.

Google processes your Google Analytics data only as required to maintain and protect the Google Analytics service, as set out in the Google Ads Data Processing Terms.

Google Analytics provides YCNA with reports with website trends without identifying individual visitors.  Site usage is tracked using Google Analytics in accordance with their Privacy Policy. However, if you do not want your data to be used by Google Analytics, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Links to third-party sites are posted on this site only for the convenience of the user. YCNA does not express any opinion on the content of these sites and is not responsible for the information contained therein.
