YCNA events and activities
Genfest is a powerful, unique experience of community, social action, celebration, stories, and service. It gathers young adults from all around the world, of different ethnic groups, cultures, and religions to experience servant leadership and care for the planet, the people around us and those that suffer. Workshops, service work, presentations and projects will help the participants experience firsthand how the Focolare’s spirituality of unity can help them move toward the needs of humanity and build a more fraternal and united world.
Info
The YCNA leadership program equips young adults to discover and develop strong and lasting skills that will allow them to navigate through every day and sometimes challenging life situations.
Info
Focolare Young Adult Retreats are a chance to come together and build community. While we are from different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions, we come together to know, value, and learn from one another. Presentations, activities, and discussions allow for a greater understanding of unity and demonstrate how we can live it in our diversity, embracing our uniqueness, and creating meaningful connections.

Chiara Luce Badano was born in Sassello, a small village in Italy. She was a beautiful girl full of joy, who loved sports, outdoor activities, hanging out with friends. You could simply say that Chiara loved life. Annual prayerful reflection on her Feast day – October 29.
Info
YCNA wants to care for our creation and give an active response to the ecological crisis, so urgently illustrated in Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’. We are also inspired by the words of Focolare founder Chiara Lubich: “Let’s do what plants do. They absorb from the earth only the water, nutrients and other things they need, and not more. So, each of us must have what we need and everything else be given away and shared with others.” YCNA is actively present on the Laudato Si’ Action Platform.
