Welcome to the YCNA website. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services and apply to all Participants at Events (in each case as defined below). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Acceptance of Terms. By accessing and using this Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Definitions
“we/us/our Company”: YCNA – Focolare.
“Event”: an event operated by or on behalf of the Company including a conference, exhibition, convention, congress, summit, seminar, webinar, meeting, workshop, award dinner, public training, service work and Online Events.
“Event Venue”: the venue at which a physical Event is held.
“Fee”: the fee payable by a Participant (or Sponsor on behalf of a Participant) in order to attend an Event.
Content and Webinars
- The content and webinars provided on our Website are for informational purposes only.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any content or service at any time.
- Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without our consent is prohibited.
Registration. All registrations for Events are subject to availability and to acceptance by the Company at its absolute discretion.
Validly registering for an Event shall entitle you to admittance to that Event as a Participant, subject to these Terms.
Participants must be at least 18 years old. Participants under 18 years of age must have prior approval.
Deposits are nonrefundable.
Cancellations – you may cancel your participation by sending an email requesting cancellation 1 month before the event. Refunds will be the cost minus registration fees.
Media & use of Likeness. By attending the Event you acknowledge and agree to grant our Company the right at the Event to record, film, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to our Company includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
Visa Requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of any government visa requirements.
Disruptive Conduct. You acknowledge and agree that our Company reserves the right to remove you from the Event if it’s determined that your presence or behavior creates a disruption or hinders the Event or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees.
- Intoxicants, narcotics, alcohol and non-prescription drugs are not allowed on the property of the facility unless otherwise indicated.
- Smoking is not permitted around or in any of the facility buildings.
- Physical abuse, foul language, bullying, and fighting of any kind will not be permitted.
- Firearms, weapons, ammunition, fireworks explosives and highly flammable materials are not allowed within or around the facility of the event.
- Tampering with the fire system or firefighting equipment in the facility is not allowed.
- No fires may be lit without permission of the management.
Intellectual Property. All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, and webinars, is the property of YCNA or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties. The Website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Website.
YCNA of the Focolare Movement reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a participant at any of its events.
