World Youth Day is an incredible celebration of the Youth and Young Adults within the Church. Building upon the scriptural themes of the preceding Global Celebrations of Young People, these events are poised not just to be a coming together of local churches, but also an international celebration. The Youth Center of the Focolare (YCNA) is preparing to organize a trip to the next WYD.
Details:
- Date – Aug. 2 (departure) Aug. 3 – 8 (program), Aug. 9 (return) 2027.
- Place – Seoul, Korea.
- Ages 18 – 35
- Theme: “Take courage! I have overcome the world.” (Jn 16:33).
- Pricing: approximately $4000 (may vary depending on airline and accommodations).

Pricing:
- $2600 / person, 8 days, (minimum 23 participants) Package includes hotel dbl occup. accommodations, meals, private bus for transport, 10 activities listed below, tour guide, medical insurance. Add $100 for WYD registration and kit, $650 for sngl occup.
- $2000 approximately for round-trip air travel (depends on airline & departure city)

What is WYD?
World Youth Day (WYD) is a worldwide encounter with the Pope and is open to all young people who want to take part in a festive encounter centered on Jesus Christ together with their peers. This event is an opportunity to personally experience the universality of the Catholic Church, and to share with the whole world the hope of many young people who are committing their lives to Christ and His Church. World Youth Day is a unique way to deepen your faith and grow closer to Christ, through prayer and the sacraments, together with hundreds of thousands of other young people who share your interests and ambitions.
