To participate on the World Youth Day in DC was a wonderful experience, not only to introduce the Focolare Movement but also to be able to feel how they were living it in Panamá. We were more than a thousand youth discussing how we can build a better world through faith. At one of the lectures I attended, the discussion was about how different communities work to grow and to keep the mutual love between them. Also the mass had prayers in at least six different languages, that gave us a feeling of having all the world in the same room.
As Focolare Movement, we had a booth with texts and images explaining about who we are and our relationship with the Church. At the end, we gave invitations to the United World Week that will happen in June in Mariapolis Luminosa. It was a challenge to get out of our comfort zone and give them a seed of the United World.
