A partnership agreement was signed on December 19, 2019, between FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and New Humanity, the International NGO of the Focolare Movement. The agreement is aimed at promoting, in particular with the new generations, actions, activities, initiatives to implement the Zero Hunger project, according to the objectives of the UN Agenda 2030 for sustainable development.
The agreement was signed at FAO headquarters in Rome by Dr. Yasmina Bouziane, Director of the FAO Office for Corporate Communication, and Dr. Marco Desalvo, President of NGO New Humanity.
