Last Wednesday, the YCNA met with the World Youth Alliance (WYA) to get to know one another and see how to collaborate in various projects. Four young people who are part of an internship at the U.N. were present as well. Grazia (Italy), Catarina (Brazil), Felipe (Brazil) and Michael (US) take part in an internship during the week and assist with the World United Week preparations in Luminosa on weekends.
The World Youth Alliance works to understand and speak about the idea of the human person. They work with young people around the world to build a culture that supports and nurtures the dignity of each human person. Their work can be divided into three program areas: Advocacy, Education and Culture.
Their mission: to promote the dignity of the person by building a global coalition of young people able to articulate, defend and live the dignity of the person in their lives and influence the communities and world in which they live.
This exchange was a great informational session and we were grateful for the chance. Four young people who are part of an internship at the U.N. were present as well. Grazia (Italy), Catarina (Brazil), Felipe (Brazil) and Michael (US) take part in an internship during the week and assist with the World United Week preparations in Luminosa on weekends.
Our next appointment is at their International Solidarity Forum on the topic of Good Governance and Human Flourishing. Paul Catipon, president and CTO or Netpro Communications will be present to speak.
