On September 26-29th, a group of young people from the Calgary area got together to build community among them and go deeper in the Focolare’s spirituality of unity. Coming from various cities, they took advantage of the weekend to play games to get to know each other, take a hike and talk. They shared about their desire to live as authentic young people and learned from Professor Amy Uelmen tools that help to avoid polarizing discussions, to create a space for dialogue. A videoconference was also held to hear from YCNA coordinators, Mike Morse and Chiara Catipon, regarding the future goals of the center. Many look forward to meeting the rest of the young people of the Focolare this summer at Mariapolis Luminosa.
