The Canada Gen Congress is a retreat for young adults, ages 17-30, who are interested in meeting the Gen and learning about the spirituality of the Focolare. “Gen” stands for “New Generation” – Young people within the Focolare who share its mission of working for dialogue among peoples, cultures and religions, and so build a more united and fraternal world.
What to expect:
- Learning more about the Focolare spirituality of unity
- Meeting new people and experience community
- Reflecting on your vocation in life and meet people who will share their own life stories
- Gaining some insight into concrete projects of the Gen and young people worldwide
The program includes:
- Presentations on various topics and personal life experiences
- Spiritual reflections, meditation and prayer and the possibility to attend daily Catholic mass
- Small group sessions
- Workshops
- A visit to downtown Vancouver
- Games and Fun
